In 1783, on the banks of Loch Tay, on a small farm called Remony, Alexander Macnaughton had an idea that would transform his life and the local community. By working with local wool farmers and spinning fleeces from local sheep, he was able to create wool blankets and fabrics of unmatched quality. This proud tradition of superior textile production continues at our mill in the Scottish Highlands, over two centuries later.
