1. Introduction

At Hazelwood Interiors, we are committed to delivering high-quality products and customer satisfaction. In accordance with Irish consumer protection law, this policy outlines your rights and our obligations with respect to returns, exchanges, and refunds.


 

 

2. Returns & Exchanges – General Conditions

We offer a 21-day returns and exchanges policy, which applies from the date of receipt of your goods. This policy excludes certain categories of items (see Sections 5 and 6).

To qualify for a return or exchange, the following conditions must be met:

  • The product must be unused, in its original condition, with tags attached, and in its original, undamaged packaging.
  • You must provide valid proof of purchase (e.g. receipt or order confirmation).
  • A return or exchange must be requested and authorised in advance.

To initiate a return or exchange, please contact our customer service team via email at info@hazelwoodinteriors.ie or by telephone at +353 46 943 7600. We typically respond within 24 hours. Items returned without prior authorisation will not be accepted.

Once a return is approved, the goods must be returned to the address provided by Hazelwood Interiors within 21 days of authorisation. Please note that all return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, unless the item is proven to be defective, damaged, or incorrect.

 

3. Refunds

Upon receipt and inspection of the returned goods (typically within two business days), we will confirm whether the item meets our return criteria. If approved, a refund will be issued to your original method of payment within 24 hours of confirmation.

Please be aware that banking institutions may require additional time to process and reflect the refund in your account. Should any issue arise during inspection, we will contact you promptly to resolve the matter.

 

4. Exchanges

Should you wish to exchange an item, the fastest method is to return the original product for a refund and place a new order. All exchanges are subject to stock availability. Return shipping costs for exchange items remain the responsibility of the customer.

 

5. Damaged, Faulty or Incorrect Items

We ask all customers to inspect their orders immediately upon delivery. In the event that an item is damaged, faulty, or incorrect, you must notify us within 72 hours of receipt.

Where applicable, we will offer either

  • A full refund; or
  • A replacement item (subject to availability), dispatched within 72 hours.

Hazelwood Interiors will bear the cost of returning any defective or incorrect items. These must be returned in appropriate packaging for inspection and documentation.

 

6. Mattresses

Due to hygiene and safety standards, mattresses are non-returnable once unsealed or used, unless faulty or damaged upon arrival.

We urge customers to check all specifications prior to purchase. If a mattress is found to be defective or incorrect, please notify us within 72 hours of delivery to arrange for resolution in accordance with our Damaged and Faulty Items policy (Section 5).

 

7. Non-Returnable & Excluded Items

The following items are excluded from our 21-day return and exchange policy, unless faulty or damaged:

  • Bespoke, special-order, or personalised items
  • Wallpaper cut to custom length
  • Hazardous materials (e.g. flammable liquids or gases)
  • Clearance or end-of-line items
  • Gift cards

If you are unsure whether an item is eligible for return, we recommend contacting our team in advance of purchase.
