Top Velvet by Edgar Textiles is a luxurious and highly durable upholstery velvet, offering a beautiful balance between rich texture, subtle sheen and everyday practicality.
Presented here in a deep Burgundy, the velvet gives Maurice a warm, sophisticated character that works beautifully with both traditional and contemporary interiors.
The fabric is made from 100% polyester (PES), with a weight of approximately 450g/m² and a width of 142 ± 2cm.
Top Velvet has an impressive 90,000 abrasion resistance, making it a particularly practical choice for furniture that will be enjoyed every day. It is also fire resistant to EN 1021-1:2014 and EN 1021-2:2014.
The fabric has a softly balanced finish, offering the depth and richness associated with velvet without an overly reflective appearance. Edgar Textiles also lists Top Velvet as an Easy Clean upholstery fabric, making it particularly well suited to busy homes.
