IN DETAIL
The Purbeck Hemp String Ceiling Light by Yard combines natural materials, a softly curved silhouette and understated metalwork to create a relaxed, contemporary lighting feature.
The defining feature is the Light Hemp shade, formed from hand-bound hemp string. Its open construction gives the fitting a beautifully tactile appearance while allowing glimpses of light to pass through the natural fibres, creating subtle patterns and a warm atmosphere.
The shade is complemented by an aged brass-look steel base, introducing a gentle metallic accent that works naturally with the warm tones of the hemp.
With its rounded form and organic texture, Purbeck sits comfortably alongside timber furniture, natural linen, woven accessories and earthy colours. It brings character to a room while retaining a relaxed, understated feel.
Measuring approximately 18cm high, 38cm wide and 40cm deep, this ceiling light has a substantial yet unfussy presence. It can work as a central ceiling fitting or as part of a layered lighting scheme in a hallway, bedroom, dining area or living space.
The wired fitting uses a standard E27 bulb, allowing you to choose a compatible bulb to suit your preferred level and warmth of illumination.
